The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

Douglas Kuiper (above) is professor of Church History and New Testament Studies at the Protestant Reformed Theological Seminary. He is an ordained Minister of the Word in the Protestant Reformed Churches in America (PRCA). He is also a frequent contributor to the Standard Bearer.
