On Thursday evening, June 12, the 2025 Commencement program of the Protestant Reformed Theological School was held at Faith PRC (Jenison, MI), host of this year's annual PRCA Synod.

The graduate was Aaron Van Dyke, a lifetime member of Faith PRC. A good crowd of family, friends, delegates to synod, members of Faith PRC, and visitors witnessed the joyous occasion, as earlier in the day brother Van Dyke had completed his examination before the PRCA 2025 Synod and been declared a candidate for the ministry of the Word and sacraments in the PRCA, eligible for a call beginning July 12.

Rev. Nathan Decker, president of the Theological School Committee that oversees the seminary, led with opening remarks and devotions (photo above).

Prof. Doug Kuiper (one of Aaron's professors and his father-in-law - above photo) delivered the commencement address, speaking from Romans 12 and Ephesians 4 on "The Minister's Relation to Christ's Body." (link to the whole program).

Rev. G. Eriks, President of the 2025 PRC Synod and TSC member, made closing remarks and closed in prayer (photo above).

Once again, we praise our good and faithful God for giving the PRC Seminary the opportunity to train a man for the ministry of Christ, and for giving the churches a servant to herald the gospel for the edification of the saints and the conversion of those yet in darkness. May the Lord soon provide a place for Cand. Van Dyke to fulfill that mission -- to the glory of God!

And may we continue to petition the Lord of the harvest for more workers in His field!
